In a significant development in the Andhra Pradesh Skill Development case, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) announced today the attachment of assets valued at ₹23.54 crores. The assets, belonging to Siemens, are located in Delhi, Pune, and Mumbai. The attached properties encompass both immovable and movable assets.
The ED’s investigation into the Skill Development issue was initiated based on a case filed by the Andhra Pradesh CID. According to reports, the investigation uncovered the purchase of goods using fake invoices and the diversion of funds to personal accounts. The ED has also attached the assets of DTC’s Managing Director Khanvilkar, former Siemens Managing Director Suman Bose, and Mukul Chand.
Notably, current Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu was previously incarcerated in connection with this case. He was arrested by the CID and spent 53 days in jail.
