YSR Congress Party leader Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy convened a meeting with leaders from the Mangalgiri constituency in Guntur district. The meeting was held at the party’s central office in Tadepalli and featured former ministers from the unified Guntur district.
In his remarks, Jagan emphasized that challenges are a natural part of being in the opposition and reassured that these difficulties would not last long. He pointed out that political opponents are attacking out of arrogance stemming from their position of power and stressed the need for the cadre to stay confident during these times.
Jagan stated that the positive impacts of their government from 2019 to 2024 continue to be felt in every household. He noted that their government had successfully implemented 95% of the manifesto and highlighted the release of the welfare calendar, which facilitated the timely allocation of funds to the state’s residents in line with its provisions.
Jagan underscored the importance of building party organization at the grassroots level in the state and assured that the necessary booth committees would be established soon. He stressed the need to unite all YSRCP supporters, leaders, and activists in every village and ward onto a common platform. He called for strengthening the party’s structure all the way down to the booth committee level.
Jagan stressed that if the party establishes a robust presence at the booth level, they will be ready for elections, no matter when they occur. He recognized that facing challenges is part of being in the opposition, noting that this is not a new reality. He pointed out that new leaders often emerge from these struggles.
