Sattenapalli TDP MLA and former minister Kanna Lakshminarayana has responded to claims by YSRCP leaders that a newly erected retaining wall was responsible for preventing the Krishna River from overflowing in Vijayawada. In his rebuttal, Kanna Lakshminarayana produced an old photograph showing YSRCP leaders Kodali Nani and Anil Kumar Yadav standing on the same retaining wall at Krishna Lanka.
Kanna questioned the YSRCP’s claims, stating, “They are asserting that the retaining wall at Krishna Lanka was built by the YSRCP. However, the photo, dated August 18, 2019, shows Kodali Nani and Anil Kumar Yadav already on that wall. The YSRCP assumed office in June 2019, did they construct this wall in just three months? This is a clear case of false propaganda,” he added.
