Chief Secretary (CS) Shanti Kumari has instructed district collectors to complete the land acquisition process for the construction of the Regional Ring Road by the second week of September. In a review meeting held to assess the progress of the Regional Ring Road project, CS Shanti Kumari emphasized the need for expedited land acquisition and prompt compensation for farmers affected by the project.
She directed officials to establish district-level committees, chaired by collectors, to ensure that compensation is provided based on the market value of the lands. Additionally, CS Shanti Kumari recommended that the courts take proactive measures to expedite the resolution of related cases.
“Efficient completion of these tasks will enable us to proceed with subsequent stages of the project,” she stated. The CS also urged collectors to report any issues directly to her.
The meeting was attended by various departmental secretaries and collectors from Ranga Reddy, Medak, Sangareddy, Yadadri, and Siddipet districts, among other officials.
