One of the leading National media, ‘The Print’ has released the list of Chief Ministers of Indian states along with their assets by ranking them depending on their total net worth. Finally, the state of AP which always ends up somewhere in the last in development secured first place, thanks to our Chief Minister Jagan.
The Chief Ministers of India have submitted their total value of assets to the Election Commission and ‘The Print’ managed to get the details of all the statesmen. According to it, YS Jagan stands tall as the richest CM of India with total assets of Rs 374 crores. The assets include both inherited from the family line and also the group of businesses under his name. Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu is second with assets worth Rs 132 crores followed by Naveen Patnaik owning Rs 63.72 crores. Telangana CM KCR declared a total asset of Rs 13.72 crores despite his family businesses and escaped the top five. West Bengal CM Mamatha Banerjee stood last in this list with properties worth just 15 lakhs of rupees in her name.
Another exciting piece of news regarding this report by ‘The Print’ was that 8 Chief Ministers among all the 30 statesmen possess firearms legally. Coming to the criminal background, KCR tops the list with a whopping 64 cases, all related to the riots during the time of the Telangana Movement followed by the Tamil Nadu CM Stalin with 47 cases. Jagan got as many as 38 cases to secure third place on the crime list and all these cases are money laundering and cheating.
