The sensational case of TRS MLAs poaching got a crucial update supporting the Telangana Police. The High Court of Telangana lifted the stay filed by BJP on the accused to keep them away from the Police interrogation. Exclusive details of this case are as follows.
It is a known thing that the Telangana Police detained three alleged BJP supporters for their trials of buying four sitting TRS MLAs for a mind-boggling amount and ceased tens of crores of cash. Immediately the BJP managed to get a stay from the court halting the Police from interrogating them and asked the court to shift the case from the state police to an independent agency like CBI. The bench continued the hearings today from both parties and concluded that it is not possible to have a long stay on the accused and directed the Police to take them into the state’s custody from remand.
The Judge also directed the Police to file a counter to the BJP answering their affidavit of handing over the case to the CBI. Here the Telangana state’s additional advocate general reiterated to the Judge that the center-supported BJP which brought the stay earlier is now trying to save the accused as it can control the CBI being the ruling party in New Delhi. After clearing the stay, the bench adjourned the proceedings to the 18th of this month by giving time for the state police to continue their investigation and asked them to submit the report meanwhile.
The ruling party of Telangana, TRS has said to be apparently won as of now as it got the chance to probe deep into the case and grill the three accused to get some information that would help them tarnish the BJP’s reputation amidst KCR’s huge plans to launch BRS at the national level.
