AP High Court reserves its verdict

The High Court of Andhra Pradesh after hearing the arguments of both the Amravati protestors’ advocate and the state advocate general of the AP Government the other day and reserved the final judgment on this buzzing issue.

It is a known piece of news that the AP Government with the help of the state Police has halted the Amravati Padayatra in the town of Ramachandrapuram, who are heading towards Visakhapatnam to end their march in Arasavalli in Srikakulam district.

The protestors were stopped stating the issue of using fake identity cards as farmers and also accused of making political slurs against the ruling party YSRCP.

Amravati protestors finally approached the High Court on this issue urging the court to permit them for the long march without any hurdles from the state government.

Countering them, the ruling party YSRCP made its advocate general submit their hearings and complained that more than 500 members are protesting without government-issued identifications, solely making the march a political one.

The State Government also asked the court to halt the march indefinitely without entering the city of Visakhapatnam amidst the rise of three capitals.

According to the Jagan’s sarkar, Visakhapatnam people are supporting the decentralization and they might create law and order problems once they collide with a single capital supporting Amravati protestors. After hearing both sides, The High Court reserved its judgment for a later day
