The disastrous outing of Vijay Devarakonda, Liger even after months of its release is still creating huge problems for the team. Now the issues went beyond the makers and touched a couple of TRS leaders like Kavitha.
Liger troubled the makers Puri Jagannath and Charmee Kaur mentally and financially and everyone knew how distributors troubled the production team regarding losses. Now a Congress leader from Telangana named Bakka Jadson filed a case against Liger Team and other TRS leaders including Kavitha alleging that these leaders invested their black money via some foreign outsourcing company to turn the currency into white. Bakka added that the hero Vijay Devarakonda, TRS MP Kavitha, and the director Puri all belong to the same caste and they together got involved in such a money laundering issue. The Enforcement department wasted no time taking up the case and questioned both Puri and Charmee yesterday for twelve hours. Sources say that ED is looking forward to questioning Kavitha and other leaders if required in this case. Now this ED investigation is creating a sensation across Political and Telugu movie industries.
Needless to say, Liger ended up as a nightmare for the cast and crew especially for the producer cum director Puri Jagannath in every possible way. Seems the issues surrounding this super flop will not end anyway soon.
