Amaravati: In a recent statement, former minister Perni Nani has drawn attention to Pawan Kalyan’s political stance, likening it to a character from ancient mythology. Nani suggested that Kalyan’s role is akin to that of Salya from the Puranas, implying a singular purpose in the political landscape. Nani also critiqued the focus of meetings held by both the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and JanaSena Party, asserting that they center around Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s name without providing substantive reasons for voter support.
Furthermore, Nani expressed disappointment with the lack of emphasis on public welfare from leaders such as Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan. He accused Kalyan of merely reciting dialogues scripted by others in his films and questioned his inconsistent stance on Amaravati, the state capital. Highlighting Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy’s steadfast approach in contrast to Kalyan’s shifting alliances, Nani warned of potential consequences for Kapu community members supporting Kalyan.
