The under-construction central office of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) in Tadepalli, Guntur district, was demolished early Saturday morning by officials from the Mangalagiri-Tadepalli Municipal Corporation, despite a high court order obtained by the YSRCP to halt the demolition. The Capital Region Development Authority had issued a notice alleging illegal construction on the site, but the destruction proceeded using excavators and bulldozers, with a party spokesperson confirming that the court’s order to stop the demolition had been communicated to the CRDA Commissioner.
