Amaravati: While addressing the Rajya Sabha during the motion of thanks to the President’s address, YSRCP member Vijaysai Reddy took the opportunity to criticize the Congress party. He accused the Congress of arbitrarily dividing united Andhra Pradesh, highlighting the resentment in Telangana where people expressed their dissatisfaction by metaphorically burning sticks against the Congress, which had hoped to gain power in the state.
Vijaysai Reddy asserted that despite granting Telangana, the Congress remains unaffected. He pointed out that after a decade of hardships, the Congress managed to come to power in Telangana through deceit. However, he confidently predicted that the Congress government in Telangana would be short-lived and eventually collapse.
