Mylavaram’s YSRCP MLA, Vasantha Krishna Prasad, has made a significant move by joining the TDP. His formal induction into the party took place in the presence of TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu at his residence in Hyderabad this morning. Chandrababu warmly welcomed Krishna Prasad, adorning him with the party scarf, symbolizing his acceptance into the fold. Krishna Prasad’s decision comes after his recent outspoken criticism of the YSRCP and Chief Minister Jagan. He expressed discontent over Jagan’s handling of issues such as the declaration of Amaravati as the capital and alleged favoritism within the YSRCP towards those who berate opposition figures.
He also revealed his frustration with the promise of the Mylavaram ticket by expressing a desire to personally target Chandrababu and Lokesh. However, he clarified that his decision to join the TDP stems from his inability to continue within the YSRCP and holds no personal animosity towards Devineni Uma. In light of these developments, there is speculation that Chandrababu might nominate Vasantha Krishna Prasad for the Mylavaram MLA ticket over Devineni Uma.
