YSRCP leader and former minister Botsa Satyanarayana expressed gratitude to the people for allowing him to serve continuously for five years. “We will always be available for public service in the future as well,” he said. “During our tenure, we provided better governance to the poor and did our best for the state’s development, improving the living standards of the underprivileged,” he added.
He suggested that their defeat might have been due to people’s hopes for even better governance. “It is not wrong for people to expect a better life and governance. Ultimately, they want what benefits the poor the most,” he said. He appealed to the new government to continue the welfare schemes initiated by the YSRCP. “Whoever is in power should think about how to benefit the people,” he explained. He emphasized that the new government should strive to fulfill the people’s aspirations and work towards better governance and welfare.
Botsa noted that people might have believed that a change in government would improve their lives, which led to their defeat. “I hope God grants the new government the ability to make this a reality,” he said. He urged the new administration to correct the mistakes made during the YSRCP’s five-year rule. Satyanarayana thanked the people of Vizianagaram district and the party workers for their hard work over the past five years.
Regarding Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan’s statement on the announcement of a mega DSC, Botsa clarified that there were no vacancies at that level to justify a mega DSC. “We will also be happy if a mega DSC is announced as promised by Pawan Kalyan. Ultimately, we want to benefit the people, the unemployed, and the poor,” he said. Finally, Satyanarayana mentioned that due to his official responsibilities, he rarely met with media friends but promised to do so occasionally going forward.
