Amaravati: Following a letter from the Private Hospitals Association indicating the potential suspension of Aarogyasri services from December 29, authorities have responded by inviting representatives for discussions today (Thursday). The association claims that outstanding dues amount to approximately Rs. 1,000 crore. Despite previous assurances from officials regarding full payment, the association has written a fresh letter to the government due to non-payment.
A decision on the continuation of medical services will be made by the private hospitals’ association following the discussions with the government. In response to the lack of positive action from the government, the association has declared its intent to suspend medical services starting December 29.
