Hyderabad: Former driver Dastagiri, now an approver in the murder case of former MP YS Vivekananda Reddy, has raised concerns about his safety and approached the Telangana government. Dastagiri alleges threats from the YSRCP due to his involvement in the Viveka murder case, urging the Chief Minister of Telangana to provide him with security.
The Viveka murder trial is ongoing in a Telangana court following a Supreme Court directive. Addressing other allegations, Dastagiri denies involvement in any kidnapping incidents and asserts his innocence. Recently released on bail from Kadapa jail, he was implicated in a separate case related to the abduction and assault of a couple in a love affair matter.
