Hyderabad: AP PCC chief Sharmila achieved a significant legal victory as the Supreme Court stayed the Kadapa court’s order that had restrained her from speaking about the murder case of Vivekananda Reddy. The Supreme Court questioned the validity of curbing one’s freedom of speech without hearing the full arguments.
Following the Supreme Court’s decision, Sharmila expressed her relief on social media. She noted that the court’s stay was a reaffirmation that justice prevails in the fight for righteousness. “Yesterday, it was proven that justice will always win against those who attack freedom of expression,” she stated, criticizing those she described as indulging in petty conspiracies.
Sharmila emphasized that this legal win is just the beginning. “This victory is just the first step. We will intensify the fight for justice for Viveka’s family in the coming days. Ultimately, we will demonstrate that victory, truth, and justice will prevail,” she declared.
