New Delhi: Taking her political campaign to Delhi, Sharmila is set to lead a protest this afternoon at the Andhra Pradesh Bhavan, urging for special status for Andhra Pradesh. The objective is to draw the attention of national leaders to the ongoing issue of special status for the state.
Earlier, Sharmila held discussions with NCP chief and seasoned politician Sharad Pawar, seeking his support for the cause and the commitments made during the bifurcation. She requested Pawar to address these concerns in Parliament. Pawar responded affirmatively, pledging to raise the issues in the parliamentary discussions. Accompanying Sharmila were leaders such as KVP, Raghuveera Reddy, JD Seelam, and others.
