YS Sharmila After Casting her vote Fired on YSRCP Atrocities

During phase four of the ongoing Lok Sabha elections in 2024, YS Sharmila, the Andhra Pradesh Congress President and candidate from the Kadapa Lok Sabha constituency, arrived at her designated polling station to cast her vote. Exuding confidence, she expressed assurance in both her personal victory and that of the Congress party in the constituency.

Addressing the media, Sharmila stated, “While I’m not certain if discussing politics is appropriate today, I am deeply confident in my triumph here. I firmly believe that justice must prevail, not only in the eyes of God and the people but also for the betterment of society.” Despite acknowledging fluctuations in the Congress’ vote share in Kadapa, she remained optimistic about achieving a double-digit percentage in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. “It’s essential to recall that Congress began with a meager vote share, nearly below 2 percent, placing us at rock bottom. The only direction for us is upwards. I am highly confident that Congress will witness significant improvement, securing double-digit percentages and seats this time around,” she affirmed.
