YS Jagan To Resign As CM

The election results trend in Andhra Pradesh is favoring the TDP alliance. Despite expectations of a fierce contest, the TDP-Jana Sena-BJP alliance is advancing strongly, suggesting a one-sided battle. In this context, CM Jagan is expected to visit Raj Bhavan soon to submit his resignation to the Governor, as the YSRCP’s defeat appears imminent.

With the alliance’s victory almost assured, a new government will be formed in AP as part of the democratic process. CM Jagan will step down to facilitate this transition.

According to the current vote count, TDP is leading in 132 seats, Jana Sena in 20 seats, YSRCP in 16 seats, and BJP in 7 seats.
