YS Jagan says A case Against Him Filed For Exposing Failures of The Alliance Regime with Evidence

Monday, December 8, 2025

YSRCP President and former Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy has accused that a case was registered against him for exposing the failures of the alliance during its one-year rule with evidence. In a post on social media platform X, he asked  why there was a need to impose restrictions on his tour?

He was furious that the TDP government filed a case against him in connection with the death of a man in Palnadu and hit back with a barrage of questions directed at the Chandrababu Naidu-led government. It may be recalled that a 53-year-old man, identified as Singayya, died after he allegedly came under the wheels of Jagan’s car during his visit to Rentapalla village in Palnadu district on June 18.

Jagan recalled that initially, Guntur SP Satish Kumar stated that the man had died after being hit by an unauthorized vehicle. However, he wondered that in a statement issued on Sunday, the SP revised his stance, announcing that a case had been filed against him, car driver Ramana Reddy, Rajya Sabha MP Y.V. Subba Reddy, and former ministers Perni Nani and Vidadala Rajini based on CCTV and drone footage

He questioned whether security was ever reduced when the TDP was in the opposition? He said that there was nothing wrong with visiting the homes of his party workers as the opposition leader. He questioned whether the former Chief Minister had the authority to withdraw Z Plus security?

He said that he had given complete information about his tour to the police, the protocol related to it, and he deplored that even minimum precautions were not followed when rope parties were supposed to be there. He said that he had purchased a bullet-proof vehicle with permission, and that a government official was the driver.

In such a situation, Jagan made it clear that the security of the vehicle in which the former Chief Minister was travelling was within the government’s jurisdiction, and the protocol was the same.  After the incident, Jagan said that after that an unfortunate incident had taken place he had instructed the party leaders to immediately go to their family.

He also said that he had ordered financial assistance of Rs. 10 lakh. He explained that he had fulfilled his responsibility to the best of his ability towards the family that had lost a person. Stating that people and activists had died during Chandrababu Naidu’s tour while he was in the opposition, he was furious that it is not right for you to talk about humanity and morality like that.
