Hyderabad: Kalvakuntla Kavitha, a Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) representing BRS, conveyed through a letter her decision not to attend the ED’s scheduled questioning related to the Delhi liquor case. Having already undergone three rounds of questioning, Kavitha sought Supreme Court intervention upon receiving a fourth notice.
Emphasizing the need for women to either stay at home or use video-conferencing for such proceedings, the Supreme Court granted her relief. However, despite the court order, the ED has issued another summons, prompting Kavitha to reiterate her unavailability for the upcoming hearing.
