Wild speculations about Ram Charan’s film

The stupendous pan-India success of RRR and his commendable performance in it as one of the lead roles have together catapulted Ram Charan’s popularity beyond Tollywood. It won’t be an exaggeration to say that moviegoers in North India are now eagerly waiting for his upcoming films. He is currently busy shooting for Shankar’s political thriller Game Changer and will soon start working on a sports drama.

Meanwhile, an interesting speculation has become a talking point in the media circles all over the country for the last couple of days. As per unconfirmed reports, Ram Charan is in talks with a couple of top-tier Bollywood directors for a potential collaboration in the future. Some media houses even went to the extent of reporting that the RRR actor has given the nod to renowned filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

While Charan’s team is tight-lipped about these speculations, reliable sources informed that there is some authenticity in them. A little birdie revealed to Andhrawatch that Charan’s 17th film will be helmed by a big-ticket Bollywood director and it is going to be an action extravaganza.

Charan’s connection with Bollywood is not a new one. It is well known that Charan made his debut there with Zanjeer a decade ago. Unfortunately, the film tanked heavily at the box office. A few months back, there were rumours that Raj Kumar Hirani approached Charan with a bound script. However, the director himself gunned down the rumours during a media interaction. However, he expressed his desire to direct Charan in the future.

Amidst this backdrop, the news that Ram Charan signed up a Hindi director for his next project garnered widespread attention. An official announcement on this will be out very soon.
