As we know that the Tollywood ace filmmaker Harish Shankar announced his future directorial with Power Star Pawan Kalyan.
Releasing a video clip on his social media handles, Harish Shankar wrote- ‘Big excitement is on the way !!! Watch out this space guys !!!! @PawanKalyan @MythriOfficial @ThisIsDSP @DoP_Bose #AnandSai.’
Said to be a remake of the 2016 Tamil vigilante cop drama Theri, this collaboration marks Powerstar’s second film with the talented director after Gabbar Singh.
However, for some reason, fans are not excited about the remake of Theri. Many fans expressed their disappointment with the duo for opting for remakes instead of doing an original story. Slogans like #WeDontWantTheriRemake are also trending on social media.
On the work note, Pawan Kalyan is currently busy with his upcoming project Hari Hara Veera Mallu. Fronting Pawan Kalyan in the titular role, the film also roped in star actors like Niddhi Agerwal, Arjun Rampal, Nargis Fakhri, Adithya Menon and others in crucial roles.
Tollywood filmmaker Krish Jagarlamudi who is known for his blockbuster films like Gamyam, Vedam, Kanche, Gautamiputra Satakarni and others is directing this film while Mega Surya Production will be financing it.
Touted to be a period action adventure, Hari Hara Veera Mallu is scheduled for a grand theatrical release on March 30 of 2023.
