The filming of the highly anticipated action thriller War 2 has officially concluded. Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan announced the completion through a social media post, confirming that the shoot spanned nearly 149 days and involved intense action, chase sequences, and emotionally charged moments.
Roshan described the production as a physically and emotionally demanding experience, stating, “It’s been 149 days of chasing, action, dance, blood, sweat, and injuries. And every bit was worth it.” He added that working on the film left him with a “mix of emotions.”
Commending his co-stars, Hrithik expressed admiration for Telugu superstar Jr NTR, calling it an honour to work with him. “Jr NTR sir, creating something special alongside you has been a privilege,” he wrote. He also praised actress Kiara Advani, noting that audiences will witness a powerful new dimension to her performance in the film.
The actor extended his gratitude to director Ayan Mukerji and producer Aditya Chopra for their cinematic vision, and acknowledged the efforts of the entire cast and crew. He also shared a personal note on bidding farewell to his iconic character Kabir, describing the moment as “bittersweet” and stating that it would take time to return to normalcy.
War 2 is scheduled for theatrical release on August 14, 2025.
