Supreme hero Sai Dharam Tej is testing his luck with his upcoming film ‘Virupaksha’ after recovering from his brutal bike accident. Even before this movie’s release, makers confirmed a sequel for this movie with a lot of confidence in the output.
Tej has started promoting the movie Virupaksha quite aggressively to get back in form and in one of the movie’s events, the makers declared that there will be a sequel for Virupaksha. Penned by the creative director Sukumar, he got immensely impressed with the final cut of the movie and decided to write a sequel as well. To continue the story, even the hero Tej who completed the full shoot again participated in an extra scene that would link the sequel to the first part. As of now, Sukumar is busy shooting the movie ‘Pushpa: The Rule’. After completing this project, the math lecturer turned director would write the sequel of Virupaksha as well.
This fictional drama that revolves around a village and its mythical happenings in a temple is directed by a newcomer Karthik Varma Dandu while Sukumar provided the story and screenplay. Samyuktha Menon is the female lead and BVSN Prasad has bankrolled this movie which is hitting the silver screens on the 21st of April.
