Slapstick comedy-drama ‘DJ Tillu’ was a runaway hit at the box office in 2022. Made on a shoestring budget, the film headlined by Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Neha Shetty evoked a stirring response from mass audiences and prompted its makers to pool resources for the sequel. Simultaneously, the announcement of Tillu Square as the sequel with director Mallik Ram as helmer and Siddhu in the lead role created a solid buzz. Anupama Parameshwaran has been roped in as the female lead.

Announcing the release date, the team of Tillu Square unveiled a brand new poster this Monday evening in which Anupama is seen in a steamy pose with Siddhu. The lead pair is looking to smooch inside a glitzy car with a backdrop of city life during night in this poster which is now going viral on social media platforms. The spicy poster hints that Tillu Square will be more crazy and saucy than the first part.

Tillu Square is slated for release on September 15th ahead of the Vinayaka Chavithi festival. The long weekend will give a good advantage for this much-anticipated sequel to perform well at the box office if it manages to garner decent reviews and positive word of mouth.

Sithara Entertainment banner is bankrolling the film. Sricharan Pakala is scoring the soundtrack for this film.
