Kollywood actor Chiyaan Vikram’s recent hit, Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2, is all set to make its digital release soon. The renowned streaming platform Amazon Prime has officially announced the OTT release date, revealing it will start streaming from April 24, 2025, and will be available in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages.
Amazon Prime India shared this thrilling announcement on their Instagram handle, with a new poster featuring Vikram in a fierce look, dual-wielding weapons. The announcement poster came with the caption, “One night. No rules. Only survival. A night that will change everything. #VeeraDheeraSooranOnPrie, April 24.”
Helmed by Chithha fame director S.U. Arun Kumar, this gripping thriller was initially released in theaters on March 27 after overcoming last-minute legal hurdles. The film even faced delay and got cancelled from the morning shows and was finally released on the evening shows. Despite the rocky start, Veera Dheera Sooran opened to strong critical and audience reception, with praise for the actors’ performances.
The film earned an impressive ₹60 crores worldwide. Produced by Riya Shibu under the banner of HR Pictures, the film stars Dushara Vijayan as the female lead opposite Vikram, alongside a strong supporting cast, including SJ Suryah, Siddique, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Prudhvi Raj, and others in significant roles. GV Prakash composed the engaging music.
