Vijay Sethupathi is set to star in the upcoming film ‘Maharaja,’ directed by Nithilan Swaminathan. The film is a collaborative production between Sudhan Sundaram’s Passion Studios and Jagdish Palanisamy’s The Route banners. On Thursday, the makers of ‘Maharaja’ unveiled the film’s highly anticipated trailer.
The trailer opens with Vijay Sethupathi, embodying the role of a barber, entering a police station to report the disappearance of “Lakshmi.” However, the mystery deepens when it’s disclosed that “Lakshmi” is neither a person nor any valuable possession, leaving the police puzzled. Subsequently, the trailer introduces a diverse cast of characters, leading up to a captivating scene featuring Vijay Sethupathi, accompanied by an intense soundtrack, as Anurag Kashyap’s character turns around, hinting at a pivotal moment in the storyline.
The cast of “Maharaja” boasts an ensemble lineup, featuring prominent names such as Anurag Kashyap, Mamta Mohandas, and Natty Natraj in key roles. Additionally, the film showcases talents including Abhirami, Arul Doss, Munishkanth, Boys Manikandan, Singam Puli, Bharathiraja, Vinod Sagar, and PL Thenappan. The music composed by Ajaneesh Loknath.
