Ravi Kiran Kola shot to fame when he made his directorial debut with Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru in 2019. Since then, he has not directed anything, although he did help Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam with the story, which was one of the major points of the film’s success.
Now, Ravi Kiran Kola is preparing to direct his next, which will feature Tollywood’s Rowdy Hero Vijay Deverakonda. The film was already officially announced, with Sri Venkateswara Creations and top producer Dil Raju supporting the movie.
During a recent interview for promoting his current film Kingdom, Vijay revealed about the upcoming project with Ravi Kiran Kola. He told us that the film is based on real events, most notably from Ravi Kiran Kola’s father’s life. Although the film shall have some imaginative parts to it, most of the narrative will be placed against a small-town setting. Vijay further added that since the shooting has yet to commence, there isn’t much else he could share at this time.
Producer Dil Raju also provided a glimpse into the project, stating that the movie might be called Rowdy Janardhan. Besides this movie, Vijay has also promised another project with director Rahul Sankrityan. After filming these two movies, Vijay assured that he would be taking on the much-awaited sequel to Kingdom.
