The highly anticipated film “Kingdom”, starring Sensational Star Vijay Deverakonda in the lead role with Bhagyashri Borse as the heroine, was directed by acclaimed director Gowtham Tinnanuri. Since the announcement, the film had high buzz and featured among the most anticipated releases. But when released theatrically, the film didn’t make the impact most anticipated. In spite of the great expectation, it failed to create good word of mouth and ultimately became a box-office failure.
Now, providing the movie with a second run, Netflix has taken Kingdom into the digital realm. The big streaming player had purchased the OTT rights to the movie earlier, and from today, the movie is now available officially for viewers in several pan-Indian languages. This provides supporters who had missed the theatrical experience with a chance to enjoy the movie at last from the comfort of their own homes.
Kingdom has a technical team in top form with music by Anirudh Ravichander. It was produced by top producers Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya, with a grand scale of production. Though it didn’t fare well in theatres, its OTT release should bring the larger audience who could view it in a different light while streaming.
