The spy action drama Kingdom, starring Vijay Deverakonda, is set to release worldwide on July 31. The film has completed its censor process, receiving a U/A certificate with a final runtime of 160 minutes (2 hours 40 minutes). As per the censor board’s recommendations, six changes were made, including muting a dialogue, removing an objectionable word, and using CGI to tone down violent sequences.
The Andhra Pradesh government has approved a temporary hike in ticket prices for the film. For 10 days from its release, ticket prices can be increased by ₹50 (including GST) in single screens and ₹75 (including GST) in multiplexes.
Ahead of the release, Vijay Deverakonda met fans at Sarathi Studios in Hyderabad, where he interacted and posed for photos. Fans later shared on social media that the actor hosted a meal for them.
