Vijay Devarakonda’s ‘Family Star’ books Sankranti berth

After scoring a lukewarm success with Kushi, Vijay Devarakonda is going to entertain audiences with a family drama in his next attempt. He reunited with Geetha Govindham director Parasuram for a wholesome entertainer and the film is titled Family Star.

As per the latest reports, fifty percent of the shooting formalities have already been wrapped up so far. Dil Raju is planning to release the film for Sankranti next year. An official announcement about the title along with a first look poster will be out very soon.

Family Star will be an out-and-out entertainer with Parasuram’s signature style comedy and drama. Vijay will be seen in a boy-next-door role and Mrunal Thakur is the female lead. The chemistry between the lead pair will stand out.

Despite heavy competition during the festival season, Dil Raju is confident that the entertainment factor works very well in favour of Family Star. Hence, he has decided to release the film as announced on the day of its launch.

Gopi Sundar is scoring the soundtrack for this film. The promotions will start shortly.
