‘Attitude Ka Baap’ Vijay Devarakonda has had a forgettable year so far. His first pan-India film ‘Liger’ ended as one of the biggest debacles in the history of Tollywood. He bore the brunt of the failure and was badly criticized for his choice of script. Later, he was grilled by the Enforcement Directorate regarding the funding of ‘Liger’ by political bigwigs.
Vijay was supposed to have another release this year in the form of Kushi, a Siva Nirvana directional. However, the film got delayed badly due to unavailability of Samantha. Kushi was initially scheduled for release in December this year. As Samantha was facing some health issues, the shooting got delayed several times. It has been nearly three months since Samantha shot for this film.
Vijay is waiting for Samantha to get back to the sets so that they can wrap up the remaining portions of Kushi. Billed as a romantic entertainer with emotions and drama, Kushi is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers. There is no clarity on when will Samantha resume shooting for this film.
Vijay is yet to sign his next project. He has kept a couple of offers on hold. He will take a call after wrapping up Kushi. For now, he needs to wait for Samantha’s return to the sets.
