In recent times, his alleged relationship with his co-star Rashmika Mandanna has been a talking point among his followers.
A few days back, social media was abuzz with the news that both Vijay and Rashmika are soon going to be betrothed in February this year. These rumours further went on to add that the hit pair would soon enter into wedlock. The unfounded news went viral all over and seems to have reached Vijay who felt that it was high time he reacted to it.
In an interview with a leading magazine, Vijay laughed these rumours off and clarified that there are no such in the near future. He remarked that the media is so desperate to see him get married soon. He said it has been a regular practice for the media to spread rumours about his marriage every year.
On the work front, Vijay is currently busy wrapping up his upcoming film The Family Star. He will soon start working on VD12, a gangster drama in the direction of Gautham Tinnanuri.
