South Indian Films and heroes are dominating entire India to an extent these days that they are pushing the most hyped Bollywood stars out of the list these days. A quick peek at a recent survey indicates the pure dominance of Southern star heroes over the North.
Ormax Media has undertaken a survey across the internet regarding the most popular stars of India and the results were quite staggering. According to the reports, Thalapathy Vijay topped the chart and stood in the numero uno position thereby becoming the most popular star of India currently followed by the Baahubali hero Prabhas. NTR Jr secured a third place as he gained a lot of fame post the release of RRR. Stylish Star Allu Arjun who topped the charts before has now adjusted the fourth place and Akshay Kumar is the only Bollywood hero who got a place in the top five, actually in the top ten as well as no B-town star entered the top ten even.
Rocking Star Yash, Mega Power star Ram Charan, Superstar Mahesh Babu, Crazy Tamil hero Ajith, and the most versatile Suriya occupied the 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th places respectively in the list. Neither of the three Khans; Shahrukh, Salman, and Aamir managed to be in the top 10 list including the young heroes like Hrithik Roshan.
