After a massive disappointment with his landmark 75th film ‘Saindhav’, seasoned actor Victory Venkatesh seems to be targeting the Sankranti festival yet again with his next outing. Director Anil Ravipudi, who is known for churning out full length entertainers with mass scripts, reunited with Venky for the third time after working for two films in the F2 franchise.
The film, which is billed as another hilarious dramedy, initially aimed Sankranti release to take advantage of the festival holidays. However, it later emerged that producer Dil Raju might postpone this film as Ram Charan’s Game Changer was shifted from December to January. Moreover, Naga Chaitanya’s Thandel also posed a challenge for Venky’s film.
As reports suggest that Thandel is likely to move ahead from festival race, Venky – Ravipudi film rejoined the Sankranti 2025 race. The latest reports confirmed that the shooting formalities of Venky76 are nearing completion and will be wrapped in November. The dubbing activities kicked off as the team is confident to release it in January.
Venky76 revolves around three main characters – Ex Girl Friend, Excellent Wife and an Ex-Cop. Meenakshii Chaudhary and Aishwarya Rajesh are playing the female leads in this film.
Sankranthi Ki Vastunnam is the tentative title for the film. An official confirmation about the release date and title will be out soon.
