Third-time collaboration for Venkatesh and director Anil Ravipudi is Sankranthiki Vasthunnam. This all-awaited family entertainer gears up to hit the theaters on January 14-that is, at the opportune time for the festive occasion of Sankranthi. The movie is featuring Aishwarya Rajesh and Meenakshi Chaudhary in key roles. Shirish is producing this film, while Dil Raju is presenting it.
It’s an exciting new development for Venkatesh’s fans as makers share an entertaining behind-the-scenes video. The clip reveals director Anil Ravipudi had initially thought of roping in a popular playback singer from either Bollywood or Mollywood to record a special track for the movie. However, in true Venkatesh style, the actor persuaded Anil to let him sing the song himself. After some playful negotiation, Anil agreed, and music director Bheems Ceciroleo made it happen. Venkatesh has now recorded a special festival song for Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, currently being shot at Ramoji Film City, with choreographer Bhanu Master overseeing the dance sequences.
This is not Venkatesh’s first foray into music. He previously showcased his singing talent with the hit track Jingidi Jingidi from the Telugu remake of Saala Khadoos (Guru). With his latest musical addition to Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, fans can expect another memorable performance.
