Vijay Devarakonda is busy with the regular shooting of his ongoing movie ‘Family Star’ under the director Parasuram. The hero however has also focussed on his VD12 project since he has got a fresh set of dates.
Vijay has teamed up with the classy director Gautam Thinnanuri for a rugged cop drama. This periodic thriller was announced way back last year and launched officially with Sreeleela as the female lead. However, for reasons better known to the VD12 unit, the movie didn’t see any progress. After all these days, the team of VD12 has gotten a fresh restart such that the director changed a key element in the story and reworked the script. The regular shoot will commence in March and Vijay will participate alongside the other lead actors. For now, the hero is focused on wrapping up the major portions of ‘Family Star’ by the end of February.
VD12 is bankrolled by Naga Vamsi under the banner Sitara Entertainments in association with Fortune Four Cinemas on a high budget. Makers have taken Anirudh Ravichander on board to score the music.
