Entrepreneur and actress Upasana, wife of actor Ram Charan, has emphasized that true recognition comes from overcoming challenges in one’s chosen field, rather than through inheritance or marriage. In a social media post titled “Khas Aadmi,” Upasana reflected on the qualities that make a person truly special. “Do wealth, status, or success make a person great? Or is it the ability to respond to situations and help others? Each person must find their own answer. I believe the moment we value and love ourselves is what truly sets us apart. Society recognizes professional achievements, but women receive less encouragement to dream big. According to the National Mental Health Survey (2016), 50 percent of Indians feel they cannot reach their desired level, and nearly 16 percent of women experience depression. First, trust yourself.
