TTD To Install Lord Venkateswara At Maha Kumbh Mela In Prayag Raj

The living god of Kaliyuga, Sri Venkateswara, will be seen in the Maha Kumbh Mela to be held in Prayag Raj of Uttar Pradesh. TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu revealed that arrangements are being made for a model temple of Srivari next to the Vasuki Temple in Sector 6 during the Maha Kumbh Mela.

He said that advance plans have been made to make good arrangements for the devotees who will come to have darshan of Srivari in the backdrop of the Maha Kummbh Mela to be held from January 13 to February 26.

The Chairman said that Srivari Kalyanotsavam, Chakrasnanam and other Kainkaryas will be held on the lines of Tirumala. He said that electrical and flower decorations should be carried out to attract the devotees. He said that since there is a possibility of a large crowd of devotees on the main days of the Maha Kumbha Mela, action has been taken in advance.

He said that TTD officials are collectively making arrangements for the Maha Kumbha Mela and taking steps to provide live broadcasts through SVBC from time to time. Meanwhile, TTD Chairman BR. Naidu said that large-scale arrangements are being made so that ordinary devotees can have a peaceful darshan of Lord Shiva in the backdrop of Vaikuntha Ekadashi in Tirumala.

He inspected the arrangements being made at Ramachandra Pushkarini on Saturday along with TTD officials, municipal officials and police officials to enable devotees to have darshan of Lord Shiva from January 10 to 19, 2025. He advised devotees to observe restraint and have darshan of Lord Shiva.

He said that elaborate arrangements are being made so that devotees can have darshan of Lord Shiva for 10 days. He said that arrangements are being made to issue 1.20 lakh tokens from 5 am on January 9 for January 10, 11 and 12. For this, he explained that tokens will be issued at a total of 94 counters, including 90 counters in 8 centers in Tirupati and 4 counters in Tirumala.

He stated that work is underway to issue tokens on the day before from January 13 to 19 only at Bhudevi Complex, Srinivasam, and Vishnu Niwasam in Tirupati. Authorities were advised to take strict measures such as queue lines, barricades, sheds, security, drinking water, toilets, etc. for the convenience of devotees in Tirupati.
