Fondly called Guruji by movie lovers for his immense capabilities as a writer and director, Trivikram Srinivas has the habit of associating with other filmmakers to enhance the story and screenplay in his style. There is a talk in the industry that he acts as a ghostwriter for others due to various obligations. Most of the time, he lends his support to Pawan Kalyan’s films. Sometimes, he openly gets credit for his work. He previously penned dialogues and screenplay for Teenmaar and Bheemla Nayak.
It is an undeniable fact that Trivikram was the sole reason why Pawan Kalyan signed Bro for a special character. Trivikram made changes to the script and joined the team to handle the screenplay and pen dialogues. However, he failed to create any magic with his work because the ineffective dialogues and run-of-the-mill screenplay failed to elevate the film.
Critics and cinephiles are coming down heavily on Trivikram because he shoehorned unnecessary and over-the-top scenes just to play to the gallery instead of keeping the viewers invested in the story and screenplay. Many felt that had the original story been retained with its full essence and some sensible changes were made the output would have been much better. The film now secured mixed reports all over.
Samutrakani is a decent director. He could have handled it well and delivered a decent watch. But, Trivikram’s exaggerated work seems to have played the spoilsport for Bro. Barring Pawan Kalyan’s energetic performance, the film fell flat on all counts. Moreover, Trivikram’s blind trust in Thaman also proved to be an undoing aspect for Bro. This fact is also drawing a lot of criticism on Trivikram.
