Trivikram Srinivas is one of the top-league directors in Tollywood who commands an immense craze among moviegoers. After delivering an industry hit with Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapuramloo in 2020, Trivikram’s brand image reached a new high and surpassed all other star directors to put him next to SS Rajamouli. Moreover, the fact that he wields considerable clout in deciding Pawan Kalyan’s films and political moves keeps him in high regard.
Unfortunately, the disastrous box office result of Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram seems to have put Trivikram’s career in the doldrums. He was supposed to team up with Allu Arjun for a pan-India period drama immediately after Pushpa 2. But, Allu Arjun has reportedly decided to work with Atlee and pushed Trivikram’s project to an indefinite time.
Trivikram simultaneously planned to work with other top actors like Ram Charan, Venkatesh, Prabhas, NTR, Suriya, etc. However, none of these projects materialized beyond the discussion stages. He even associated with Rana’s ambitious period drama Hiranyakashap which was announced last year. But, there has been no update on this project till now. Given his political commitments and pending films, even Pawan Kalyan cannot come to his rescue.
Ignored by star heroes, Trivikram is now looking upon second-tier actors like Nani and Nithiin. As Allu Arjun will be busy for another year or more, Trivikram might need to wait for his dates or work with a medium-range star as almost all top actors are busy for the next couple of years.
