Actress Trisha Krishnan gears up for her debut on OTT with the upcoming web series ‘Brinda’. Touted to be an investigative crime thriller, the series is helmed by Surya Manoj Vangala. The series is set to premiere on Sony LIV, and the makers released the teaser on Monday.
Unveiling the teaser, Sony Liv and the filmmakers shared the teaser on their social media handles and wrote, “Brace yourselves, thriller fans. Trisha is coming up with her OTT debut in a gripping new series. Stream #Brinda in all the major languages only on Sony LIV from August 2.
The one-minute and 28-second teaser begins with a ritual being performed on a young girl, accompanied by a voiceover that states, “We may have anger, betrayal, hatred within us. But it’s not with these we should battle. Rather, fight with the good in us, making sure it doesn’t fade away.” Meanwhile, Trisha’s character, Brinda, undergoes an emotional journey as she delves into a case.
The teaser concludes with the voiceover addressing Brinda, “Before you entered the world, it may have been filled with evil. But before we depart, it’s our responsibility to fill it with goodness.”
The teaser promises a gripping and immersive case investigation with a stellar ensemble cast of Trisha Krishnan, Indrajith Sukumaran, Jaya Prakash, Aamani, Ravindra Vijay, Anand Sami, Rakendu Mouli, and others.
Backed by Kolla Ashish under the banner of Adding Advertising LLP, the series will premiere in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malatalam, Kannada, Marathi, and Bengali. The musical score is composed by Shakti Kanth Karthik, with cinematography by Dinesh K. Babu and editing by Anwar Ali.
