Popular South Indian actress Trisha Krishnan, who is currently working on Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming fantasy entertainer Vishwambhara, has finally broken her silence on the constant speculation surrounding her marital status.
With a career life of more than two decades and having passed the age of 40, Trisha still manages to be among the most feted actresses in the profession — and significantly, unmarried. Being single has many times created speculations and curiosity among fans as well as the media.
During a recent media interaction as part of the promotions for her film Thug Life starring Kamal Haasan, Trisha candidly addressed the topic. Sharing her personal perspective, she said:
“I’ve never really believed in the institution of marriage. That’s why I’ve always stayed away from it. I don’t feel bad or pressured about not being married. It’s just not something that has ever felt important to me.”
She also added that her current focus is entirely on her career, family, and personal growth:
“My attention is fully on my films, my work, and spending time with my loved ones. If marriage happens someday, it’s fine. If it doesn’t, I’m perfectly okay with that too. I’ve never made it a goal. Maybe marriage and children aren’t my path — and I’m absolutely at peace with that.”
These honest remarks have surprised many, especially considering Trisha was once engaged in the past. Her grounded and practical approach has sparked a conversation online, with fans appreciating her clarity and confidence.
