Production behemoth Mythri Movie Makers made inroads in Tollywood after their debut film Srimanthudu, starring Superstar Mahesh Babu in the lead role, emerged as a huge blockbuster. There is no looking back for the production house after Srimanthudu as it delivered numerous biggest hits like Janatha Garage, Rangasthalam, and Uppena.
The pan-India success of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa further cemented their position as the top production house of Tollywood at present.
Now, the production house is looking to step into Bollywood with a mega film. As per the latest reports, Mythri is planning to bankroll a film under the combination of veteran Hindi actor Sunny Deol and promising Telugu director Gopichand Malineni.
It is reliably heard that Gopichand narrated a script to Sunny Deol recently and got a positive nod from the latter. It is touted to be an action-packed drama with an interesting backdrop that will cut across different sections of audiences.
Mythri is putting all efforts in bringing Sunny Deol on board as they are determined to make a mark in Bollywood with their quality filmmaking skills.
Mythri was supposed to produce a film with Ravi Teja and Gopichand. However, the project was shelved due to budget constraints. It is speculated that the same script was narrated to Sunny Deol.
Sunny Deol recently scored a massive hit with Gadar 2 which grossed more than 600 Crores at the box office. So, the production house is planning to tap into his newfound stardom with a commercial potboiler.
