Tollywood actor Vishwak Sen fell victim to a home burglary recently. In the early hours of Sunday, March 16, the actor’s residence in Film Nagar was burglarized, with reportedly 2.2 lakhs in cash and jewellery stolen.
According to the reports, the theft occurred while Vishwak Sen was away. The intruder entered the house through the bedroom of the actor’s sister, Vanmai, located on the third floor. Upon waking up, Sen’s sister discovered the room in disarray and noticed that both cash and jewelry were missing.
The robbery includes Rs. 2.2 lakh in cash and diamond jewellery, including a valuable diamond ring that was stolen. Following the incident, Vishwak Sen’s father, Karate Raju, filed a complaint at the police station, with police currently investigating the matter.
The Hyderabad police launched the investigation, reviewing CCTV footage from nearby surveillance cameras and collecting fingerprints from the scene. In the footage, it is revealed that the burglar arrived on a bike at 5:50 AM and spent approximately 20 minutes inside the premises. Police have been suspecting the involvement of someone familiar with the house.
On the professional front, Vishwak Sen recently faced backlash as his latest release, Laila, underperformed at the box office, receiving criticism for its weak storyline and content. Now, the actor is focusing on his upcoming projects, including Funky, a romantic comedy entertainer directed by KV Anudeep, and another untitled project, tentatively titled ‘VS 13.’
