Star boy Siddhu Jonnagadda’s recent outing Tillu Square has opened up with stunning reviews and the movie collected more than 23 crores on its opening day. However, the movie has made profits just with the non-theatrical business.
According to the trade experts, Tillu Square which carried good buzz was bought by the OTT giant Netflix for a solid 15 crores for the Telugu version’s digital rights. Star Maa bought the satellite rights for another 15 crores. The audio rights and Hindi rights fetched another 15 crores landing the producers in profits already.
Directed by Mallik Ram, this sequel is produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Sowjanya. Anupama Parameswaran is the female lead.
