The makers of Thug Life, a pan-India gangster action drama starring Kamal Haasan and directed by Mani Ratnam, have announced key dates for the film’s promotional events. The trailer is set to be unveiled on May 17, followed by a grand audio launch on May 24.
The audio event, which was previously postponed due to the ongoing sensitive situation along the country’s borders, will feature a special live performance by Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman.
In an official statement, the team expressed gratitude for the support received during the pause in celebrations, stating, “We had temporarily halted our festivities in solidarity with the nation. Now, we are pleased to resume the journey of Thug Life.”
This project marks the reunion of Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam after their acclaimed 1987 film Nayakan. The film also stars Trisha and Silambarasan in prominent roles. Kamal Haasan is producing the film, which is slated for release on June 5.
Promotional content released so far has garnered considerable attention and anticipation among audiences nationwide.
