Three big announcements on Nag’s birthday

Seasoned Tollywood actor Akkineni Nagarjuna’s last film ‘The Ghost’ released a year ago. After that, he has been kicking his heels as the next project didn’t take off even till today. Due to back-to-back debacles, Nag was unable to take a firm decision on what genre he should work for his upcoming films. Due to this indecision, he didn’t finalize the director all these days. There have been a lot of speculations over his films among Akkineni fans.

As per the latest reports, Nag has locked choreographer Vijay Binni for his next project. Though Nag initially planned to launch writer Prasanna Kumar Bezawada as director for this project, he dropped the idea due to some creative issues and handed over the responsibility to Vijay Binni. It is heard that the script of his film is inspired by the Malayalam film Porinju Mariam Jose. An official announcement about this project will be made on this 29th as a birthday treat. Naa Sami Ranga is the tentative title.

There are good chances that Nag will essay a pivotal role in Sekhar Kammula’s next film which is going to have Dhanush in the lead role. Sources revealed that Nag gave the nod to be a part of this interesting project. The makers of this film will announce the news next week. He will also host the seventh edition of the popular reality show Big Boss. A promotional video is likely to be out shortly on his birthday.
