Akkineni Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming action-adventure ‘Thandel’ has been making a lot of waves ever since it was announced a few months ago because of the interesting genre and the impressive promotions involving the pre-shoot workshop.
After an extensive pre-production phase which lasted for nearly three months, the makers of Thandel kicked off the shooting formalities this month. As the story is inspired by real-life incidents that happened across the Gujarat coast involving fishermen from Coastal Andhra Pradesh, many scenes will be shot realistically inside the sea.
An adrenaline-pumping action sequence including chase episodes in the middle of a sea featuring boats and a bunch of fighters is being shot in the current schedule. A new poster with Naga Chaitanya in cheerful mode getting ready to embark on his voyage with the fisherman’s equipment is unveiled on this occasion.
Thandel has Chandoo Mondeti as director and Sai Pallavi as the female lead. Devi Sri Prasad is rendering the soundtrack.
Allu Arvind’s Geetha Arts banner is bankrolling the film on a grand scale.
